Digital Vision BitPack installed at Tele-Cine in London Las Vegas, April 19th, 1999 - Digital Vision announces the installation of their BitPack MPEG2 pre-mastering system to the post-production facility Tele- Cine in London. Tele-Cine is one of Europe's leading post-production facilities and has been in the industry for over 20 years. "We decided to bring in a Digital Vision BitPack system since in-house tests have shown that it gives impressive results at low MPEG2 rates, said Paddy Morrison, head of New Media at Tele-Cine. "BitPack also has Digital Vision's widely used DVNR hardware included in the unit. The platform includes the DVNR control which marries well with the encoding interface to enable full encoding and noise reduction control within the project", continued Paddy Morrison.
