Digital Vision launches a new generation BitPack-SD - Pre-mastering Workstation Las Vegas, April 19, 1999 - Digital Vision launches a new generation BitPack- SD Pre-mastering workstation for DVD and high quality applications such as video server off-line encoding and archiving. BitPack-SD offers customers a system solution, with integrated pre-processing, supporting both MPEG2 main level 4:2:0 and 4:2:2 encoding formats. The new Windows NT control system increases ease of use and flexibility like project management, graphical encoding control and quality analyses. Integrated machine control also provides automatic frame accurate encoding as well as playback.
