Latest Digital Vision High Definition Image Processing System sold to IVC Los Angeles, February 13, 2002 - Digital Vision proudly announces the sale of a High Definition AGR-IV Grain and Noise Reducer and a High Definition ASC-II+ Scratch Concealer to IVC High Definition Data Center. Headquartered in Burbank, CA, IVC High Definition Data Center (International Video Conversions, Inc.) is one of the world's largest HD mastering, restoration and conversion facilities. The AGR-IV is Digital Vision's fourth generation real time film grain and electronic noise reducer that was released in late November of 2001. AGR-IV is designed for film or videotape restoration and MPEG pre- processing. The AGR-IV's advanced motion processing and newly developed adaptive 3-D filters including an Edge Preserving Spatial Filter, allow facilities to produce even cleaner and sharper pictures from film and video originated material than ever before. The ASC-II is based on Digital Vision's five years of experience with the original ASC. It effectively removes, in real time, the disturbing effects of film dust, dirt and randomly dispersed scratches with a minimum of side effects. The ASC-II also effectively deals with pure emulsion scratches. ASC-II processing is useful in tape-to-tape rooms as well as in the telecine suite. The ASC-II+ is an enhanced version of ASC- II aimed for HD productions.
