Mexico's first high definition facility installs Digital Vision HD-DVNR Stockholm, December 6, 1999 - Digital Vision, a recognised leader in the design and manufacture of high quality digital video image enhancement products, announces the installation of their high definition DVNR Image Processing Workstation at Mexico's premier post production facility, New Art Digital. Located in Mexico City, New Art Digital has quickly become the leading post facility in the country. Bringing together an amazing array of equipment, service and talent, New Art handles post production tasks for a wide variety of media including television commercials, mini-series and music videos. New Art's technological innovations lead them to be chosen as the post production facility for the first high definition broadcast in Latin America - a 17 minutes HD (1080i) program for Televisa, a main broadcaster in Mexico and Latin America. New Art Digital have recently completed the addition of a dedicated high definition suite, which includes a C-Reality telecine equipped with two Digital Vision HD-DVNRs. New Art Digital's high definition suite is the first of its kind in the country. "Our mission statement at New Art has always been to be not only the leading post facility in Mexico, but among the finest worldwide," explains, Demetrio Bilbatua, Vice President at New Art Digital. "With a client base that includes top Mexican production companies and internationally recognised advertising agencies such as Alasraki, Procter & Gamble, Ogilvy & Mather, Clemente Camara, Lintas, BBDO, and J.Walter Thompson, it was important for us to have not only the newest technology, but more importantly, the right technology. We are proud to have in our demo reel, work we have completed for companies, such as Ford, GM Chrysler, Kellogg's, Coca-Cola, Nestle, Grupo Modelo, Parmalat, Telmex, and Pemex." "Our experience with Digital Vision's Grain and Noise Reducers is fantastic," continues Bilbatua and Javier Leal, General Director at New Art. "Since we installed our first DVNR here at New Art (a 8:4:4 Hi Res) for our Spirit DataCine, we have found the product to be an excellent partner in our sessions. The DVNR helps us to solve problems such as noise, grain and scratches inherent in the film itself. Digital Vision is a leader in this technology and we are pleased to have the HD-DVNR as an integral part of our new C-Reality telecine suite."
