The Syndicate invests in High Definition Grain and Noise reduction from Digital Vision Los Angeles, November 24, 2003 - The US based company The Syndicate invests in a High Definition AGR4 Grain and Noise Reducer from Digital Vision. AGR4 is Digital Vision's grain and noise reducer aimed for film, videotape restoration and MPEG pre-processing. The AGR4's advanced motion processing, newly developed adaptive 3-D filters and innovative edge-preserving spatial filter allow facilities to produce cleaner and sharper pictures without reducing resolution or introducing undesirable motion artefacts. AGR4 is available in SD and HD formats. The Syndicate, based in Santa Monica, was launched in spring 2002 to focus on short form projects and has handled telecine and visual effects for national commercial campaigns and music videos. The Syndicate is one of two divisions under a new corporate umbrella venture, the ComputerCafe Group.
