Video-8 Broadcast first in Australia to buy Digital Vision's Valhall image processing system Amsterdam, September 17, 2001 - Digital Vision proudly announces the sale of their new Valhall image processing control system to Video-8 Broadcast. The deal was negotiated by Digital Vision's Australian Distributor Amtech and they are again looking forward to assisting Video- 8 fulfilling their customer requirements. Video-8 was first in Australia to take up Digital Vision's DVNR1000. Today they have three systems in operation, one of which is a full MSP system. This system is used for restoration work, while the other the two systems are used in telecine suites. "We see big opportunities to expand in the restoration area", says Kevin Hurley, Managing Director of Video-8 Broadcast. "Because of our past and present relationship with Digital Vision we have chosen the Valhall system after having evaluated all other systems available at this time", he continues, "and our intention is to remain in the forefront of 'real time' image restoration".
