Diligentia sells property in Spain with capital gain

Diligentia sells property in Spain with capital gain Diligentia has sold the property Gran Via 22 in Madrid. The purchase-sum amounts to approximately SEK 21 million generating a capital gain of SEK 2 million. The project Gran Via 22 has been developed during Diligentia's ownership and building permit has now been granted. The buyer of the property is a local real estate company. Closing on the property is April 1. This deal means that Diligentia leaves the real-estate market in Madrid. Diligentia's remaining two properties in Spain is located in Barcelona and has a total book value of SEK 64 million. That is 7 percent of Diligentias' remaining international portfolio which has a book value of approximately SEK 880 million. Stockholm, March 29, 1999 Diligentia is one of Sweden's largest real estate companies. The book value of the Group's Swedish property portfolio amounted to SEK 10.5 billion on December 31, 1998. The book value of the international properties amounted to SEK 1.2 billion. Diligentia's overall strategy is to concentrate its operations on select market sectors in Greater Stockholm, Greater Gothenburg and the Öresund region.
