Dimension creates new System Management business area The integrator Dimension is broadening its range of IT infrastructure solutions by creating a new business area, System Management, that will have consultants and products and services primarily for monitoring functions. This gives Dimension an even stronger position as a supplier of business-critical systems with extremely high availability and performance. In creating its new business area, Dimension is establishing a specialized team consisting of experienced consultants and sales representatives, and is signing agreements with subcontractors such as BMC. This gives it a client base with approximately 2,000 installed software licenses, representing a total licensing value of about SEK 20 million. Dimension is undergoing substantial growth - at nearly 70 percent annually over the past ten years. To ensure its continued strong development, it intends to complement and develop its operations with new businesses in related areas. "We are now complementing an already strong offering with additional high- quality services to meet client demand for high availability and performance in their IT infrastructures," says Sven Uthorn, Managing Director of Dimension AB. "With high-performance monitoring systems in our product range, we can supply clients with even better adapted systems right from the start." Among Dimension's subcontractors in System Management are BMC Software, Twobyfour Software, Proxima Technology and OTL Software. Dimension's new business area starts off with a number of ongoing projects for OM, Telia and Expressen, among others.
