Dimension improves IT security at major Baltic bank One of the IT integrator Dimension's subsidiaries in the Baltic region has been commissioned to design and implement a security solution for identification and authorization control at one of the region's largest banks. The order value is approximately SEK 3.5 million. In 2001 Dimension established two subsidiaries in the Baltic states. Operations in the region have developed positively, with a number of strategically important orders. When one of the region's major banks decided to upgrade its Internet bank, the job of designing, supplying and implementing the IT security solution went to one of Dimension's subsidiaries. Dimension's extensive experience with similar solutions, together with its ability to offer testing environments and training for the specific solution, were decisive to the bank's selection of an IT partner. The security solution gives the bank a centrally administered environment, so that updates and changes only have to be done in one location and are then automatically applied to all the bank's systems and users. It also means it can use a single security policy for its entire IT environment, which ensures higher security and lower administrative and operating costs.
