Expanded strategic cooperation between Dimension and leading telecom supplier The IT integrator Dimension's subsidiary Dimension Telecom has signed an agreement with Ericsson on integration services for a number of products Ericsson offers telecom operators around the world. The agreement calls for Dimension Telecom to integrate and adapt Ericsson's products based on specific customer requirements. Dimension's newly formed subsidiary Dimension Telecom focuses mainly on integration solutions and infrastructure for telecom operators' service networks. Dimension Telecom's cooperation with Ericsson will comprise, among other things, the integration and testing of platforms for payment, positioning and administrative services. These systems are decisive in helping operators to produce and supply services and content over fixed and mobile networks. The agreement also comprises services where Dimension Telecom will develop and customize products for operators around the world. The products are critical to operators, whose payment, positioning and administrative services are the hub of their operations. If they do not work, operators lose revenue, which places extremely high demands on availability. To meet these demands, Ericsson, in cooperation with Dimension Telecom, adapts the products. For example, it has created a method whereby systems can be updated while in operation. Dimension Telecom will also assist Ericsson on special, complex installations of various products on a global basis.
