Server solutions from Next Nordic in Ericsson's mobile networks Next Nordic AB, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Dimension Group, has signed a three-year agreement as a primary OEM supplier to Ericsson Radio Systems, ERA. The annual contract value is SEK 300 million. Ericsson Radio Systems has selected Next Nordic as a supplier of server solutions and related services for Ericsson's service platforms for mobile networks. Next Nordic will provide configured hardware and integrated systems that will be included in the range of services Ericsson offers. The three-year OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) agreement, which covers solutions and services for mobile network providers and telecom operators around the world, strengthens an established supplier relationship between Dimension Group and ERA. Ericsson Radio Systems, which designs advanced mobile telephony networks, has signed over twenty contracts to build 3G networks around the world. The networks are expanding at a rapid rate and when placed in service will maintain continuous availability. This, in turn, places stringent demands on Ericsson's suppliers in terms of the quality and precision of their systems and the speed of their deliveries. "It is a success for the Dimension Group to secure future revenues in this way," says Sven Uthorn, CEO of Dimension AB. "The agreement strengthens the continuity in our cooperation with Ericsson and makes an already close working relationship even more long-term. It will be an exciting challenge for us to play a part in the expansion of mobile telecom networks today and in the future."
