NASHVILLE - November 16, 2010 - Discovery Sound Technology's MS3000 ultrasound measurement device was recently used to support the Holiday Inn at World's Fair Park in Knoxville, TN in its energy conservation program.  Using Discovery Sound Technology's Assurance Program, the hotel gained a better understanding of its HVAC, mechanical and electrical systems plus identified targeted improvements and increased savings.

Discovery Sound Technology technicians identified 23 specific and measurable issues at the location by using the MS3000 device to inspect the hotel's systems for energy leakage.  Using ultrasound technology, the MS3000 searches for sound pattern discrepancies that indicate a possible issue.  The MS3000 is an integral part of a full predictive maintenance program.  Nearly all of the issues found were easily and inexpensively resolved.

"We at Discovery Sound Technology are pleased to have supported this Holiday Inn's green efforts.  The MS3000 is an easy to use device that identifies energy loss situations quickly and efficiently, allowing the property manager to make corrections before small issues become larger and more expensive to fix," said John R. Jenkins, Chief Operating Officer.
