Gillian McKeith, Heather Mills & Rose Elliot join the Organic Kitchen line-up at Natural & Organic Products Europe 2010
The full Organic Kitchen demonstration programme, which is to include live sessions by Gillian McKeith, Heather Mills and Rose Elliot MBE, has been confirmed for this year’s Natural & Organic Products Europe trade show, taking place at Olympia, London, over 11-12 April.
The Organic Kitchen, sponsored by biodynamic meat specialists Heritage Prime, will feature some of the UK’s leading chefs demonstrating their differing approaches to promoting and serving organic cuisine. A popular show highlight since its launch in 2007, the Organic Kitchen reaffirms the event’s commitment to promoting real food – sustainable, organic and locally produced – and the lifestyle choices that entails. This year’s Organic Kitchen line-up will include sessions from leading nutritionist and bestselling author Gillian McKeith, Coeliac Chef of the Year 2008 – Christine Bailey, plus Rose Elliot MBE who’ll be using key Essential Trading ingredients to prepare Roasted Red Peppers with Pesto, Quinoa Tabbouleh and Mango Fool. Rose Elliot, whose name is synonymous with delicious vegetarian food, will join the Essential Trading stand after her 11am session, on Monday 12 April, to sign copies of her new book "New Complete Vegetarian". She is delighted to be back at Natural & Organic Products Europe, saying: “It’s a pleasure to return to cook in the Organic Kitchen. The show is really upbeat, and my audience last year was very enthusiastic. I have more Essential Trading treats lined up this year.” Also appearing in the Organic Kitchen, and making their debut at the show in the process, are: Vegan campaigner and Redwood Wholefood’s new owner – Heather Mills; Eton College’s Head Chef Michael Godfrey; Matt Hay, Head Chef at Barclays’ Global Head Office; Contract Catering Chef of the Year 2009 – Andrew Aston; and Dale Pinnock – the Medicine Chef, who is set to make his TV debut on the Good Food channel’s "Market Kitchen", later this year.
