New exhibitors announced for Service Desk & IT Support Show 2012
With the 18th annual Service Desk & IT Support Show (SDITS) now just two months away, organisers Diversified Business Communications UK have today announced some exciting new additions to its exhibitor list. xMatters – a market leader in IT alerting and mobility apps, specialist IT consultancy Epaccsys, IT managed services supplier Selection, independent training provider EXIN, Munich-based technology company Celonis, leading software developer panintelligence, award-winning IT managed services software specialists GFI MAX, and The Open University, are just a few of the latest companies to have confirmed their presence at London’s Earls Court on 24-25 April 2012.
Featuring the ITSM industry’s leading specialist vendors, integrators, consultancies and service providers, demonstrating the latest products and services, SDITS is the UK’s leading IT Service Management and IT support event. For 2012, the event’s focus remains firmly one of promoting the integral role that ITSM plays in enabling employees, within every organisation – whatever their role – to work efficiently and effectively. Whilst this is concept is hardly new to the ITSM community, the rapid growth of user-owned devices now operating in the workplace, coupled with revolutionary emerging mobile technologies, are reshaping core functions at the heart of the IT service management industry.
The event’s breadth of appeal is demonstrated by the incredible range of first-time exhibitors, who’ll be christening their debut at SDITS 2012 with a host of innovative new launches. These include N-able Technologies – showcasing its latest release of N-central (a remote monitoring and management automation platform); SimpliSys – introducing its new Citrus Service Desk service management software application, which has been designed using input from real end users and developed by an ITIL trained team; cloud based software provider ISL Online – demonstrating its enhanced online collaboration tools, which now includes remote desktops for Apple and Android mobile devices plus live online video recording on its web conferencing software; and VirtuaCon – launching Sysmosis (its reactive software for proactive support onto the European market) that enables users to manage, configure, fix and control remote Windows devices.
Given the success of its 2011 show, which attracted 4,120 unique visitors and a wealth of positive feedback, this year’s Service Desk & IT Support Show boasts an impressive number of returning exhibitors. Among them are Serena Software – sponsors of the event’s three dedicated, increased-capacity seminar theatres; Quest Software (formerly known as ScriptLogic); LabTech Software; Versadev; Nimsoft; BMC Software (following their recent acquisition of Numara Software); Alemba – the UK's largest VMware IT Service Management Partner; Kepner-Tregoe; Prior Analytics; License Dashboard, with its new SAM Portal v2 solution; PC power management and password reset solutions specialist Certero, who’ll be launching its new AssetStudio®suite of products; best practice service management solutions provider LiveTime Software, with its new Service Manager version 7; Bomgar, with its latest award-winning Bomgar 12.1 software; and Cherwell Software, who’ll be demonstrating its browser-based version 4 release of its self-service portal - Cherwell Service Management.
“This unique event provides a fantastic opportunity for Cherwell to engage with the market and showcase its products and solutions to the industry,” says Cherwell Software’s managing director Tony Probert.
It’s a sentiment echoed by many of the show’s returning exhibitors, including John Fahey, principal consultant at service management training providers STI Ltd: “The Service Desk & IT Support Show brings in great new leads for us every single year. It is THE event for service desk people.”
Service Desk & IT Support Show pre-registered attendees, to date, include top-level ITSM professionals from some of the UK’s biggest organisations, including many government departments (such as the Home Office, MOD, and the Department of Education), plus The Arcadia Group; the BBC; Estee Lauder; G4S; Goldman Sachs; Imperial College; Virgin Atlantic Airways and the NHS.
