Newsbyte: Førende analysefirma evaluerer SAP HANA™ som fundamentet for fremtidens applikationsinfrastruktur

Nu løfter SAP sløret for detaljerne om virksomhedens langsigtede strategi for fremtidens applikationsinfrastruktur (oprindelig annonceret i 2010) baseret på in-memory database management system (DBMS), mobility og cloud computing. Initiativet er et fremsynet forsøg på at sætte skub i et generationsskifte for virksomheden og skærpe SAPs konkurrenceevne.

SAPs strategi for fremtidens applikationsinfrastruktur – kaldet HANA Architecture – kombinerer cloud og in-memory teknologier i en progressiv vision, som vil tvinge SAPs største konkurrenter til også at fremvise deres cloud og in-memory computing strategier. Budskabet til både kunder og partnere er, at SAP HANA Architecture vil få signifikant betydning for hele softwareapplikationsindustrien. 

Gartner Inc. – verdens førende firma indenfor forskning og rådgivning i informationsteknologi – har netop i en ny rapport evalueret SAP HANA Architecture og de kort- og langsigtede implikationer af SAP’s spirende teknologi-strategi.
