SAP leverer mere innovation hurtigere og uden afbrydelser til SAP® Business Suite

København d. 12. oktober 2011 – SAP tager nu endnu et stort skridt for at gøre livet lettere for de mange business kunder. Med afsæt i en ny, ambitiøs køreplan vil SAP hvert kvartal opdatere SAP Business Suite med de nyeste softwareapplikationer til de områder, hvor business kunderne har størst behov, f.eks. mobility, in-memory teknologi og cloud-computing. I stedet for blot at vedligeholde Business Suiten, skruer SAP op for blusset og lover kunderne yderligere software innovationer – og det uden at kunderne skal planlægge efter størrere opgraderinger, der ofte forstyrrer deres forretninger. Med de nye planlagte, kvartalsvise opdateringer kan kunderne opgradere deres business applikationer i deres eget tempo og efter deres egne, individuelle behov. Samtidig udvider SAP deres forpligtelse til at vedligeholde kerne applikationerne i SAP Business Suite 7 med fem år – fra december 2015 til december 2020 – hvilket giver SAP kunderne en for it-branchen uhørt langsigtet forudsigelighed, der fjerner byrden af opgraderinger på tværs af virksomheden i adskillige år.

De specifikke detaljer om SAPs nye køreplan for at de kvartalsvise forbedringer af SAP Business Suite bliver offentliggjort på den forestående SAPPHIRE® NOW + SAP® TechEd 2011 konference, som afholdes i Madrid, fra d. 8-10 november.
