Citi Appoints Country Head for Denmark

Citi has appointed Nicholas Skjold Hendy as Citi Country Head and Head of Corporate Banking for Denmark. He was most recently in the EMEA Corporate Banking Aviation team, where he has led industry coverage for the last eight years. He will now relocate to Denmark to lead Citi’s Danish franchise.

Nick succeeds Rudi Baxter-Warman who has assumed a new role for Citi in London as a senior underwriter for energy and commodities. Nick will report to the newly appointed Erik Savola, Nordics Cluster Head, who is also co-head Nordic BCMA, Nordic Corporate Banking Head and Country Head for Sweden.

Nick joined Citi in 2009 and prior to his aviation role, he held positions in risk management in London and Corporate Banking in the Netherlands. He was born in Denmark where he spent his first five years before moving to Britain.

Citi has been present in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden for over 45 years and has done business with Nordic clients for more than 100 years. With this key appointment, Citi underscores its commitment to continue to grow the Nordic franchise across key sectors and products.
