Tel Aviv Samsung Marathon vender tilbage 25. februar 2022
Tel Aviv Samsung Marathon vender tilbage i sin oprindelige form efter at have holdt pause på grund af den globale pandemi, og løber af stablen 25. februar 2022.
Titusindvis af løbere forventes at deltage i Israels største sportsbegivenhed. Sidste år løb løberne alene under banneret "Alle løber sammen hver for sig", hvor hver deltager fulgte en lokal rute, som var designet specifikt til ham/hende af en smartphone-app, der var udviklet til formålet.
I februar 2020 deltog mere end 40.000 løbere i Tel Aviv Samsung Marathon. Deltagerne nød en betagende rute på 42 km, som slyngede sig gennem byens bankende hjerte og gik gennem Sarona, Rabin Square, Old Jaffa og Middelhavets hvide sandstrande.
Deltagere kan vælge mellem en hel maraton (42,195 km), en halv maraton (21 km), et 10 km's løb, et 5 km's løb og et håndcykelløb. Alle ruter starter og slutter ved den rejste port ved Rokach Blvd mellem Park Hayarkon og Expo Tel Aviv, det internationale kongrescenter.
