27. April, 2015 – HyperX®, en afdeling af Kingston Technology Company, Inc., verdens førende indenfor hukommelsesprodukter, lancerede i dag HyperX Savage, deres seneste SATA3 (6Gb/s) SSD. HyperX Savage benytter den nye Phison S10 quad-core og otte kanal controller der kan levere fantastiske læse/skrive hastigheder med både komprimerbar og ikke komprimerbar data. Dertil klarer den meget høje IOPS. Savage erstatter den successfulde HyperX 3K SSD.

            HyperX Savage er den hurtigste SATA baserede SSD i HyperX sortiment. Drevet leverer sekventielle hastigheder op til 560MB/sek (læs) og 530MB/sek (skriv) og IOPS op til hele 100.000 (læs) og 89.000 (skriv). HyperX Savage leverer derved høj ydelse, ubesværet multitasking og et generelt hurtigere system. Drevet er udført i rødt stål og aluminium og har en lav profil så det passer ind i de fleste notebooks, desktops og small form factor systemer. Dette nye design er en del af HyperX trend mod mere stilfulde og markante gaming produkter.
