Marts 2015 - Kingston Digital Europe Co LLP, en division af Kingston Technology Company, Inc., der er førende indenfor hukommelsesprodukter i hele verden, annoncerede i dag 4. generation af deres hurtige USB kortlæser, HS4 All-In-One Media Reader. Den alsidige kortlæser er forbedret i forhold til sidste version, idet den nu læser flere korttyper inklusiv de seneste SD kort hastigheder (UHS-I, UHS-II) og CF Type I og II (UDMA 0-7).

Brugere kan let kopiere og flytte musik, fotos, video og anden data med USB 3.0 hastighed. Det sparer tid idet overførsel med USB 3.0 tillader op til 5Gbit/s hastighed – næsten 10x hurtigere end ved USB 2.0. Den mobile og kompakte kortlæser er udført i børstet nikkel og er bagudkompatibel med USB 2.0.

Kingston® lancerer også en ny 64GB version af deres CompactFlash Ultimate 600x kort. 64GB CF Ultimate 600x kort kan klare hastigheder op til 90MB/s (læs og skriv) til brug ved hurtig burst fotografering og HD video. MediaRECOVER® softwaren medfølger og kan hjælpe med at redde slettede eller ødelagte filer hvis behovet skulle opstå.
