DOCOMO Digital to offer access to applications on Samsung Galaxy through Singtel direct carrier billing

DOCOMO Digital, one of the leading integrators of digital app stores, have partnered with Singtel, Asia's leading communications technology group, to facilitate the purchase of applications, games and content within the Samsung Galaxy Store through Singtel mobile plans.

Singtel subscribers in Singapore can now purchase applications and games in the Samsung Galaxy Store by billing it to their monthly mobile phone bills quickly and securely. This partnership enables those without credit cards to enjoy the convenience of accessing more than 650,000 apps and 850,000 themes on the Samsung Galaxy Store.

Samsung Galaxy Store is an app store used for devices manufactured by Samsung Electronics that was launched in September 2009. The service is primarily shipped on Samsung Galaxy smartphones, Samsung Gear and feature phones (such as the Samsung REX and Duos) The store is available in 125 countries and it offers apps for Android, Tizen, Windows Mobile and Bada platforms. Apps from this store are updated by notifying the user via the Samsung Push Service, which has been installed in over one billion smartphones over the years.
