Aker DOF Deepwater - Sale of Skandi Emerald

Aker DOF Deepwater has signed an agreement with Vietsovpetro Joint Venture (VSP) for sale of the Skandi Emerald. This is the first of six vessels Aker DOF Deepwater has under construction at STX Europe's shipyard in Vietnam. Skandi Emerald is expected delivered from the shipyard at the end of this month. Delivery to VSP will be approximately one week after delivery from the shipyard. The agreed price with VSP is USD 65 million. Skandi Emerald were scheduled to start on a contract in Brazil after delivery. Odin Viking, presently working as a forerunner for Skandi Emerald, has been extended to serve this contract.
