Letter of Intent for Norskan Offshore

Norskan Offshore Ltda. has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from StatoilHydro Brasil Ltda for an AHTS of Aker AH08 design. The vessel is under construction at STX Europe’s shipyard in Vietnam and it is scheduled to be delivered in second quarter 2010. The vessel is ordered by Aker DOF Supply AS, a company 50/50 owned by Aker ASA and DOF ASA. The duration of the firm contract is 2 years with a 2 x 1 year option.
