DOF ASA has today acquired 54 769 266 shares in DOF Subsea ASA from its fully
owned subsidiary DOF Rederi AS at a price of NOK 32,50 per share. DOF owns
68 305 991 shares in DOF Subsea ASA after this transaction, equivalent to 57,05% of
the company. Oslo Børs has by a letter dated 8 July, 2008, given an exemption from
compulsory bid for all outstanding shares according to Security Trading Act Section
6-2, 3rd paragraph.
