Dollar General recognized for Post 9/11 Veteran Employment

GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. (November 14, 2011) -- Dollar General (NYSE: DG), one of the country’s leading discount retailers, was recognized by the U.S Chamber of Commerce for its military veteran hiring efforts at the 4th Annual Business Steps Up: Hiring Our Heroes event on Nov. 10.

First Lady Michelle Obama gave the keynote speech during the event that recognized employers for their support of military families and veterans.
