WHAT: “How Are Tablets Changing the Game for Publishers?” will be the focus the Fall 2010 Tablet/E-Reader Symposium hosted by the Donald W. Reynolds Journalism Institute (RJI). The event is free and open to the public. Participants include representatives from news organizations, technology companies, media associations and universities.

Ken Doctor, a leading news industry analyst and the author of “Newsonomic: Twelve New Trends That Will Shape the News You Get” will give the opening keynote presentation. Other speakers include:

RJI and The Associated Press will share the results of their recent iPad surveys and discuss their implications for publishers.
