The Chicago Tribune and the Chicago Photography Center to host annual POYi program
The Chicago Tribune and the Chicago Photography Center will host the 69th annual POYi Education & Awards Program on April 20 - 21. POYi is privileged to partner with Chicago's foremost news organization and the city's prestigious learning and gallery institution for the two-day event featuring presentations and a 50-print exhibition by winning photojournalists and visual editors.
The two-day event is free and POYi welcomes anyone wishing to attend. We welcome you to register at www.poyi.org for this inspirational experience.
The program begins on Friday evening at the Chicago Photography Center with an open reception and the unveiling of the POYi "Visions of Excellence" exhibition. The Chicago Tribune will welcome POYi on Saturday for an impressive full day schedule by premier winners, including recognition of the world's best photojournalists during the awards presentation ceremony.
Thanks to the generous invitations from the Chicago Tribune and the Chicago Photography Center, POYi is able to realize its goal to offer professional development and inspiration to photographers through the power of imagery and presentations.
