DORO and Witcom Wireless Telecommunications sign agreement for distributing wireless broadband. DORO, the Lund-based telecommunications company listed on the OM Stockholm Exchange's OTC-list, has reached an agreement with Witcom Ltd., a designer, developer and manufacturer of radio-based digital networking solutions for the worldwide telecommunications and data communications market, through DORO's subsidiary UpGrade Communication AB. The agreement enables the UpGrade Group to distribute Witcom's WitLink-2000 throughout Scandinavia and the Baltic states. Witcom's products are point-to-point radios which converge high-speed data, voice and video traffic. The unique product design developed by Witcom implements scalable data rates, introducing unprecedented flexibility that revolutionizes logistics. Value added ATM capabilities and SNMP network management are standard system features. WitLink@-2000, the initial line in the company's WitLink family of products, is a high-end medium capacity radio system. This robust product provides larger range (higher system gain) while supporting scalable data rates from 1.5 Mbps to 52 Mbps, the system offers flexible, field upgradeable interfaces for n*T1 or T3, n*E1 or E3, STS-1/STM-0 or 10/100Base-T (Fast Ethernet).
