DORO's Annual General Meeting
DORO's Annual General Meeting DORO AB, active within the telecom sector and listed on the O list of the OM Stockholm Exchange, held its Annual General Meeting today, with around 300 people in attendance. Business assessment Acting CEO Ingvar Karlsson made an assessment of the current business situation in his speech to the meeting. Several factors have had a positive impact on the Group's results: · The components shortage is nearing its end and only affected results in the second half of the year · A programme aimed at cutting costs and reducing the product range continue · The international launch of switchboards and wireless broadband · The launch of new cordless telephones and terminal products However, two factors had a negative impact: · Weak consumer buying · The high US dollar Ingvar Karlsson expected the company to make a loss in the next quarter. DORO will not make a forecast for the current financial year. New issue The meeting authorised the Board of Directors to carry out one or more new share issues with preferential rights for existing shareholders, worth a total of SEK 75-100 million. Election of Board of Directors The following people were re-elected to the Board: Rune Andersson Lars-Olof Hjalmar Ulf Körner Mats Ljunggren Joen Magnusson Gunnar Åkerblom, the new CEO of the DORO Group, was newly elected to the Board. At the inaugural Board meeting, Lars-Olof Hjalmar was re-elected as Chairman. The director's fee was set at SEK 480,000. Dividend No dividend will be paid.
