Driving Miss Daisy Inaugural Annual Convention a Huge Success

Franchisors, Regional Developers, Franchisees, suppliers and speakers gathered to celebrate the inaugural Driving Miss Daisy Convention held at the Norton Park Hotel, Winchester.

Founders Jack and Melanie Harper, together with Greg Blezard, Chief Operating Officer for the UK and Paul Nuth, UK Business Development Director welcomed Regional Developers and Franchisees from Sussex, Surrey, Wiltshire and Dorset, and Hampshire to celebrate the last twelve months.

Inspiring personal insights from the Franchisees (Daisies) describing why they joined the Driving Miss Daisy team and the uplifting anecdotes of customers’ testimonials left no doubt that the brand lives up to its reputation as being the ‘business with a heart’.

Informative and educational presentations from The Blue Lamp Trust and Blind Veterans UK together with an entertaining and motivational key note talk from Jan Mitman, Franchise Sales Director of the Drain Doctor supported the main event.

The convention also officially launched the next vehicle type in the Driving Miss Daisy fleet, a wheelchair-enabled Citroen Berlingo Blaze, engineered to meet the exact requirements of Driving Miss Daisy's clients.

A highlight of the weekend was the inaugural dinner with speeches and presentations really celebrating the success of the company in the past twelve months and looking forward to substantial growth and activity in the coming year.
