Ductor's Organic Liquid Fertilizer Available Now and Approved for Organic Production by CDFA
Ductor’s first commercial product is now available from distributors
Ductor’s High Nitrogen Liquid offers a directly plant available form of Nitrogen that will allow farmers to optimize their nutrients application. Ductor has launched the production of its High Nitrogen Liquid Fertilizer in Juanita, Mexico and is preparing a rapid expansion around the world.
“Ductor’s way of producing high nitrogen liquids from organic wastes brings a novel opportunity for organic farmers to close the nutrient yield gap”, says Terje Bakken, head of global Fertilizer Operations at Ductor.
The company’s unique two-step biogas process allows to produce renewable energy, high-nitrogen liquid fertilizers and organic NPK fertilizers that support farmers improving soil health and soil fertility.
“Ductor’s process brings new and sustainable solutions to the fertilizer industry, and the CDFA approval is an important milestone demonstrating that our unique way of recycling nutrients works”, states Bakken.
The new organic High Nitrogen Liquid Fertilizer is now available in 275 gallon totes, 5 gallon jugs, 2.5 gallon jugs, gallons and quarts and it can be bought by American farmers via Ductor’s distributors and retail channels.
Plant available nitrogen, a balanced pH and carbon negative manufacturing process
Ductor’s fermentation technology converts organic waste, such as chicken manure, into efficient organic fertilizers for agriculture and energy in the form of biomethane to replace fossil fuel energy.
“There has been a lot of interest for this product especially from organic farmers producing specialty crops like berries, hemp, grapes and leafy greens but also tree crops, vegetables, and rice. We are further developing new projects and products in the U.S to be able to offer a crop specific fertilizer program eventually”, comments Mr. Caleb Adams, head of Ductor’s Fertilizer Operations in Americas.
