Board member leaves Veg of Lund board at his own request
Board member Magnus Nordin has today announced his resignation from the Board of Directors of Veg of Lund AB. The Nomination Committee of Veg of Lund has been conducting a review of the composition of the Board and has identified Anders Gustafsson as a candidate for Board member.
“I joined the Veg of Lund board to contribute knowledge about fast-moving consumer goods, FMCG. Now that the company has an updated strategy, a good organisation in place in the UK and an agreement with First Class Brands of Sweden AB for sales processing in the Swedish market, I no longer feel that I contribute enough to the board work or to the organisation to stay on. Therefore, I have decided to leave the Board,” says Magnus Nordin.
The Nomination Committee of Veg of Lund has been conducting a review of the composition of the Board and has identified Anders Gustafsson as a candidate for Board member. Anders Gustafsson is Director Marketing & Product Management for Tetra Pak Vietnam and has extensive experience in sales and distribution of food products in several markets in Southeast Asia. The Nomination Committee believes that Anders Gustafsson can contribute with expertise to implement the company’s updated strategy.
“Veg of Lund is in a very interesting stage of company development and international expansion based on strong patents for plant-based foods. These are areas that I find very exciting and that fit my experience, my areas of expertise and my personal interests,” says Anders Gustafsson.
The Nomination Committee’s work to review the future composition of the Board will continue in light of Magnus Nordin’s resignation. As soon as the review is completed, the full proposal of the Nomination Committee will be made public and the Board will convene an Extraordinary General Meeting to propose the election of one or more new Board members.
Following Magnus Nordin’s resignation, the Board of Directors of Veg of Lund will consist of Håkan K Pålsson, Chairman, Anders Hättmark, Roger Johansson, Linda Neckmar and Eva Tornberg.
