The coffee festival in Frankfurt left a lasting impression. This Friday, the Swiss Coffee Festival in Zurich kicks off, and Veg of Lund will be there with their plant-based potato drink, DUG Barista. "We received such a positive response from Germany last week, it's really exciting to see that our products are appreciated in coffee," says Helene Nielsen, Director of International Sales at Veg of Lund.

Veg of Lund is making a strong push to become the natural choice for professional baristas. Therefore, the coffee festival in Frankfurt was a strategically important for the company. "We came back with a lot of new energy and many leads from both distributors, but also from individual baristas who want to collaborate. The fact that our potato drink is now available on Velivery in Germany makes it easier for us to reach both the HoReCa market and consumers. We are completely unique with our potato drink, and the fact that it is both allergy-friendly, gluten-free, and low in sugar sets us apart from many others," continues Helene Nielsen.

Next year, the plan is to participate in the Amsterdam Coffee Festival and also to introduce a potato-based cream for the HoReCa market. "It's great to feel that we have wind in our sails and that we're moving forward. It strengthens our focus on international expansion," comments Fredrik Carling, CEO of Veg of Lund."
