Veg of Lund has over the last 6 months, in partnership with a distributor partner, submitted all relevant documentation and samples to gain commercial clearance for the start of sales of all three DUG potatodrink versions, Barista, Original and Unsweetened. Approval and clearance have now been issued.

Japan is a key market in our strategy of commercializing the Asian market. The category of plant based milk have shown some of the most positive growth rates globally the last few years and is on its way to become a top ten market. Receiving clearance from the Japanese authorities is also a stamp of quality approval given the extensive process and will be positive in other Asian commercial discussions. We aim to launch in the Japanese market during Q3”, says Fredrik Carling, CEO of Veg of Lund.
