Veg of Lund strengthens its UK sales organisation
Veg of Lund’s UK subsidiary has hired Amy Beckford and Freya Lynott, both with extensive sales experience. Freya Lynott and Amy Beckford will join Veg of Lund latest on 1 April 2022.
Veg of Lund’s plant-based drink DUG® has got off to a good start in several UK sales channels and the company is now taking the next step to strengthen its products’ market position as the most sustainable and allergen-free alternative to animal milk. The UK subsidiary, Veg of Lund UK Ltd, has hired two experienced people to strengthen visibility and sales in the wider UK and across different customer segments.
Amy Beckford, Commercial Executive, joins the company most recently from a position as Account Executive at Fentimans, the family-owned and independent botanical brewers of premium soft drinks, where she was responsible for the delivery and management of full product range sales and communication tools for UK regional route-to-market wholesalers and foodservice customers. Amy has also worked as a technology recruitment consultant at the UK company Nigel Frank, where she was responsible for marketing and business development for tech companies such as Spotify and Klarna.
Freya Lynott, Sales and marketing support co-ordinator, has worked in marketing support for animal welfare charity Battersea Dogs & Cats Home and accountancy firm Buzzacott.
