Veg of Lund strengthens organisation with responsible for Supply Chain
Veg of Lund AB has hired Per Henrik Johnson as responsible for the company’s manufacturing, purchasing and logistics. In this newly created role, Per Henrik will be responsible for building up and developing the company’s supply chain, an area that is crucial in the company’s ongoing international expansion.
Per Henrik Johnson comes most recently from the Orkla Group, where he worked in several different positions, most recently as Head of Raw Materials and Traded Goods within Orkla Foods Sweden. He has extensive experience of leading and developing teams to build sustainable and cost-effective supply chains.
“The launch of our plant-based drink DUG® began at the end of May and we are delighted with the warm reception from customers and consumers, primarily in Sweden, the UK and China. We are now preparing for the next step, where we need to ensure that manufacturing and logistics work in several locations and in larger volumes”, says Cecilia Lindwall, CEO of Veg of Lund.
