Duni subsidiary Rexcell Tissue & Airlaid AB will invest approximately 110 MSEK, upgrading their two tissue machines in Skåpafors, Sweden. The investment will increase the tissue capacity at Rexcell by approximately 15% annually.

Voith GmbH & CO KG has been selected as supplier. This will be the second installation of a new technology in the world and the first in Europe. With this investment Rexcell will have the possibility to develop a new quality standard for tissue napkins. The plan is to have the new technology installed during the second quarter of 2016.

“As market leader in producing colored tissue for napkins we need to invest in higher efficiency and upgraded materials. This investment will give us the opportunity to develop new products in cooperation with our customers”, says Thomas Gustafsson, President and CEO of Duni AB.
