According to the German Federal Statistical Office, more than 6 billions citizen of Germany used in 2015 the local transport on rail and about 131 billions the Inter-City train. Reliability is the highest priority. Oil-free auxiliary air compressors from Dürr Technik insure an operational effectiveness safe of the railway vehicles.
Our strong expertise of 25 years of experience led to us to the position of world leader.
We now extended our delivery programme by products of the French company ATS Environnement. Thus, Dürr Technik offers now besides auxiliary air compressors also main air supply units – everything from one source. The flow volume is now ranging up to 1000 l/min at a pressure of 9 bar.
In the main air compressors sector, ATS offers more than 15 years experience and manufactured the first oil-free compressed air unit for high speed trains. Now Dürr Technik bundles this expertise with its own know-how. The asset purchase is a further stage of success of our company after the takeover of Estan in 2014, a manufacturer of driving motors for high quality DC-motors.
At first, we wish to propose two ranges of products intended to grow rich over time.
The RC-compressor can be connected to all conventional motors for direct drive and belt drive. Therefore this compressor is very well suited for retrofitting. Since 2006, the RC-model has been certified by SNCF (Société Nationale des Chemins de fer Français) – the state-owned enterprise for the passenger transport in France. The product range MC is characterised by its handily compactness and is ideal for new projects. Due to their sound-proofed housing these models are additionally protected against dust and stone chips.
The maintenance effort is relatively low, as the compressors do not need any oil lubrication. High quality materials ensure an above-average service life of the components. Comprehensive tests under extreme conditions guarantee the high quality standards.
The motor concepts are specifically formulated for the railway traffic. A further advantage is the silent and low-vibration operation. The compressors are also very reliable in continuous operation.
Dürr auxiliary air compressors with 12 V DC up to 110 V DC and a flow volume of 30 to 160 l/min control individual functions.
In addition to these compressors the air supply units can now also be serviced, enlarging the range of applications, as lifting of pantographs, signal horn, control of toilet door, wheel flange lubrication and sanding systems, as well as the main braking and suspension system.
Due to their extended range of compressors, Dürr Technik offers now a wide range of compressed air solutions for the railway traffic – with tailor-made systems, which meet the individual demands of the customers.
