Dustin launches new service – an IT department for small businesses
Dustin, a leading online IT partner serving the Nordic region and the Netherlands, is launching a completely new service that will make day-to-day IT easier for small businesses.
The service, called “Easy Workplace”, is a bundled solution for small businesses and comprises a laptop, the most common software from Microsoft, user support and express replacement of hardware if it breaks. New and special for Easy Workplace is that the service can be bought entirely digitally directly online by customers themselves, something that is unique to Dustin.
“Easy Workplace serves as an IT department for small businesses and will make day-to-day IT easier for our customers. In addition to the computer, the service includes all of the basic software from Microsoft and rapid support when needed. Everything at a fixed monthly cost,” says Rebecca Tallmark EVP SMB Nordic, Dustin.
A significant difference compared with leasing a computer and purchasing Microsoft subscriptions separately, is the support and software management offered in the bundled solution. Offering services that can be purchased and managed online is part of Dustin’s long-term strategy.
“We want to make life even easier for our customers in the SME segment. Easy Workplace means they no longer need to spend time on installation, managing software licences, or worrying about extra costs. We help the customer to get up and running quickly with their new laptop. Together with the built-in security functions in Microsoft 365, customers are also provided with the necessary protection to stop various cyberattacks and the cloud is securely used for all storage,” says Rebecca Tallmark.

What?
Easy Workplace is an IT service as a bundled solution that aims to make day-to-day IT easier for small businesses.
Who?
The service is particularly suitable for companies with between 2 and up to 50 employees.
What is included?
The bundle includes a laptop, user support, express replacement if hardware breaks and the most common software from Microsoft 365, including the Office suite, Teams, Onedrive and Sharepoint. When the period ends, the computer is reused in secure and environmentallyfriendly manner. Customers can choose between about ten selected and needs-based laptop models from HP, Dell, Lenovo, Apple and Microsoft.
How much does it cost?
Customers pay a fixed monthly cost per user for the service. The monthly fee is between SEK 499 and SEK 799 depending on the laptop model chosen by the customer.
Easy Workplace is being continuously developed and as a first step is being launched in Sweden.
