Dynea sells Belgian resins company

Dynea Chemicals Oy has sold the shares of its Belgian resins company, Dynea N.V., to Spanogroup on June 1, 2012.

Dynea N.V. manufactures mainly urea and urea melamine resins for the composite board industry. The company employs at present 21 persons, who will transfer to the new company.

“This divestment follows our strategy. Our aim to develop our business portfolio by concentrating on our core product and application areas,” says Hans Pettersson, President and CEO of Dynea.

Spanogroup is an integrated group of companies producing particleboards, construction boards, MDF boards, melamine faced boards and green energy. The company employs over 800 persons and had a turnover in 2011 of €237 million.
