Regnery Publishing Names Alberto Rojas Director of Publicity

WASHINGTON, D.C.—April 24, 2012—Regnery Publishing is pleased to announce it has hired Alberto Rojas as Director of Publicity, effective May 1.   Rojas will oversee all publicity efforts for  Regnery’s well-known list of current events books, as well as Regnery’s two new imprints, Regnery History and Little Patriot Press.

Mr. Rojas was most recently Senior Director of Publicity at HarperCollins. During his five-year tenure at HarperCollins, he directed press campaigns for many high-profile authors including Sean Hannity, Neal Boortz, Regis Philbin, and Gene Simmons.  Mr. Rojas also successfully launched the media program for HarperCollins’ new  imprint, It Books, which saw 13 New York Times bestsellers in its first two years.

With more than 15 years of public relations and management experience, Mr. Rojas has also held positions at The Advertising Council, Consumer Reports and Simon & Schuster.
