EAST CAPITAL ANNOUNCES SPONSORSHIP OF SITE – THE STOCKHOLM INSTITUTE OF TRANSITION ECONOMICS

East Capital, the leading independent asset manager specialising in Eastern European financial markets, is pleased to announce a five-year funding agreement to sponsor the Stockholm Institute of Transition Economics ("SITE"), the leading research and policy centre on transition in Central and Eastern Europe.

East Capital joins Tetra Laval in the five-year funding agreement, and accompanies the current sponsors including the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Axel Johnson Holding AB, Carl Bennett AB, Nordea, SEB and Handelsbanken.

SITE works with governments in the region to formulate policy options, monitor implementation of reforms, and evaluate outcomes, with the aim of helping decision-makers find innovative solutions to policy problems.
