East Capital Group welcomes Nikodemus Dahlgren, Head of Sales, as a new Partner
East Capital Group is proud to announce the promotion of Nikodemus Dahlgren, Head of Sales, to Partner. Nikodemus joins the partner group alongside Peter Elam Håkansson, Karine Hirn, Jacob Grapengiesser, and Albin Rosengren, further strengthening the leadership at East Capital Group.
Nikodemus Dahlgren has been a driving force in East Capital Group's growth since he joined in 2007. With over 15 years of experience in institutional and international sales, he has played a pivotal role in the company's strategic development. His tenure includes three years in Hong Kong, where he contributed to the building of East Capital’s presence in the Asian markets.
Peter Elam Håkansson, Chairman and Group Chief Investment Officer, commented: “Integrating sales leadership into our partner group reflects our unwavering commitment to a client-centered investment approach. Nikodemus has consistently cultivated long-term client relationships that align with our core values, ensuring that we meet our clients’ needs with the top-performing strategies and superior client servicing that define East Capital Group."
East Capital Group’s client base has expanded significantly under Nikodemus’s guidance, both internationally and within Sweden, attracting several new large international institutions, a testament to the growing trust and recognition of our expertise in global markets. In Sweden, his efforts have resulted in a broader range of East Capital Group funds being made available on key fund platforms, further increasing our market presence. One example of his impact is the recent achievement of an all-time high in Assets Under Management (AUM) for our Global Emerging Markets Sustainable and Global Frontier Markets strategies, underscoring his pivotal role in driving the firm’s continued success.
The close collaboration between our Sales and Investment Management teams has delivered exceptional value and is key to our client-centric approach. This synergy was evident in November 2022 with the launch of our Espiria Nordic Corporate Bond fund. The fund, developed with input from key clients and the expertise of our Investment Management team, has seen remarkable success, reaching 3.2 Bn SEK in assets and capturing approximately 8% of the net flows to Nordic Corporate Bond funds in Sweden within the past two years.
Nikodemus Dahlgren shared his thoughts on his new role: "I am honored to join the partner group at East Capital. Our success is deeply rooted in the strong relationships we have built with our clients, and I look forward to continuing to drive our mission of delivering exceptional investment solutions in this new capacity."
