Espiria recruits new fund manager with expertise in sustainable investments
Espiria recruits Huizi Zeng, who with a solid background in impact investments will further develop the fund management related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
Huizi Zeng has 15 years of experience in fund investment, research, and corporate finance advisory, most recently from the position as Impact Investment Advisor at China Alliance of Social Value Investment and as a consultant at her own firm. Prior to that, she held roles at Beringer Finance and Willis Towers Watson, as well as East Capital, where she was an analyst from 2011 to 2016.
Huizi Zeng holds a B.A. in Economics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in Wuhan, and an M.Sc. in Business & Economics, specialising in finance, from Stockholm School of Economics.
The recruitment is done in light of Espiria's prioritised work to integrate more sustainability aspects into the fund management. Espiria is undergoing an extensive transformation journey with the goal of becoming a leader in global equity and Nordic fixed income management related to the SDGs. In January, East Capital Group also partnered with the UK impact investor Alquity to further develop sustainability efforts in both emerging and frontier as well as developed markets, in which Espiria has its main focus.
