Eastnine’s entire property portfolio sustainability-certified
Eastnine's Uptown Park property in Vilnius, Lithuania, has received LEED Platinum sustainability certification.
Thus, 100 percent of Eastnine's property holdings are sustainability certified.
The Uptown Park property covers approximately 12,700 sq.m., was built in 2020, and acquired by Eastnine in 2021. It is located in the part of Vilnius known as the New Town, near the Central Station. Eastnine started the certification work after the acquisition and the property has now received 85 points in the category building operations and maintenance, corresponding to LEED Platinum. The certification of Uptown Park means that Eastnine has achieved the goal of sustainably certifying the entire property portfolio.
"With Uptown Park receiving LEED Platinum certification, we have achieved our goal of certifying the entire property portfolio. That 95 percent of the stock has achieved LEED Platinum (highest within LEED) or BREEAM Outstanding (highest within BREEAM) is an external quality seal of our buildings' sustainability performance. The certification is part of a systematic effort to ensure that our properties meet continuously increased demands from tenants, investors, and financiers", says Eastnine’s Head of Sustainability Lilia Kouzmina.
