EasyPark Group achieves milestone in Camera Parking integrations

EasyPark Group, guided by its vision of making cities more livable, has more than doubled Camera Parking (ANPR) presence across 15 European countries in two years. The integration of parking garages and Camera Parking systems helps cities reduce on-street parking by moving more cars into off-street facilities.

“Through this technology and integrations with a number of 3rd party systems, EasyPark enables its customers to enjoy the benefits of seamless Camera Parking technology, allowing for a hassle-free experience of driving in and out of facilities without any additional steps. Private parking operators and cities will enjoy more satisfied customers and simultaneously increase their revenue and reduce costs”, says Cameron Clayton, CEO EasyPark Group.

EasyPark can be used in more than 25,000 off-street locations in Europe. This is a testament to EasyPark's continuous cooperation with thousands of private parking operators and cities over the past decade. The number of Camera Park transactions has also tripled during the past two years which is due to dozens of successful integrations with Parking Management System (PMS) and ANPR system providers, setting a new standard for Automatic Camera Parking solutions for spontaneous parkers.

A 2023 online survey of motorists in Germany* found that 61% of respondents believed that parking garages reduce traffic congestion and the search for on-street parking. In a recent study from Denmark, 85% of respondents were (very) satisfied with the Automatic Camera Park experience and up to 15% claim that they have started to park more off-street than on-street due to the better experience provided by the garages with Automatic Camera Parking.

We are very happy to see that our services are being integrated in camera parking facilities. Automatic Camera Parking is one of the fastest-growing services we have launched in EasyPark. Our initiative to enable seamless parking experiences reflects a growing demand for efficient and user-friendly services”, says Cameron Clayton, CEO EasyPark Group.

*German Study Methodology:
The survey was conducted by YouGov between June 28, 2023, and June 30, 2023. 2,028 individuals residing in Germany, who possess a driver's license, were interviewed online.
