Up & Coming Author Reveals African-American Men That Are on the Down Low in New Tell All Book Currently Selling at Amazon.com

April 20, 2011 – Los Angeles, CA – Daneshia Gordon, an African-American book author based in Los Angeles, California releases her first title, ‘Downfall of an Arrogant DL (Down low) Brotha’, currently available at Amazon.com and Kindle.

Gordon, book title author is currently doing interviews and book tours to promote ‘Downfall of an Arrogant DL Brotha’ through the urban markets within the US and Canada. Daneshia Gordon comments, “Everyone can learn from my life experiences and theories. I think this title can open your mind and understand alternative lifestyles that are alive and active today in America and the rest of the world.”

Daneshia Gordon is a native from New Orleans, Louisiana currently residing in Los Angeles, California who decided it was pertinent to convey a life experience that occurred while serving in the US Military. The ‘down-low’ topic has been extremely popular since J.L. King’s ‘On the Down Low: A Journey Into the Lives of Straight Black Men Who Sleep with Men’, a book title that made the New York Times Best Seller List in 2004. Other popular book titles about African-American men ‘on the DL’ have been released since then such as Karrine Steffans’ ‘Confessions of a Video Vixen’ released in 2006. American Pop star, Lady Gaga recently wore a dress made of raw meat to the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards as a political statement for persons profited from serving in the US Armed Forces due to the “Don’t ask, don’t tell” policy.

Gordon, the author is dedicated to enabling education to the gay, lesbian, and transgender community and donates a portion of her book sales to not-for-profit organizations that help fight HIV and AIDS.
