The hugely successful mobile racing game Gear.Club will be available to download on Android from Wednesday 23rd November. Following success on the iOS platform, which saw the game race to over 1,000,000 downloads in just 5 days, French gaming giant Eden Games releases its latest racing masterpiece on Android devices.

In this realistic driving experience, car-lovers can collect, upgrade and customise some of the most gorgeous, exotic vehicles in their performance shop and enjoy exquisite details, such as engines and interiors, in fully-rendered 3D. They can then race their vehicles against people from around the world in beautiful and accurately modeled environments.

The game launches initially with the option to drive one of 29 models with more being introduced as the game evolves. Each model takes between 4-6 weeks to create and Eden Games works closely with car manufacturers to ensure a realistic and authentic replica is produced. The models available to drive include the BMW M6 Coupé, Lotus Exige S, McLaren 570S, Mercedes SLS AMG and Nissan 370 Z Nismo.

Eden Games has over 20 years’ experience in developing racing games and is the company behind popular racing titles such as the V-Rally franchise, Need for Speed: Porsche and Test Drive Unlimited. With the rise of mobile gaming, and self-publishing for the first time since its split with Atari, Eden Games has spent the last three years developing Gear.Club.

According to a recent study by the statistics portal Statista, mobile gaming holds a 16% share of the total gaming revenue worldwide and with global smartphone gaming revenue standing at €12.1bn and predicted to leap up to €16.1bn by 2019 it’s no wonder gaming companies are focusing so much on this rapidly expanding market.

About Eden Games

Eden Games was founded in Lyon, France in 1998, to develop one of the most successful game franchises on PlayStation systems: V-Rally.

In 2000, the studio expanded its racing expertise with the development of Need For Speed: Porsche for EA. Eden Games iterated in other genres before returning to its roots with Test Drive Unlimited, the first massive open world racing game franchise.

Eden Games today is an independent game studio managed by two of its original co-founders, David Nadal and Jean-Yves Geffroy. The studio is composed of both experienced veterans and highly talented young developers, all driven by the same passion for cars, high-end design and technologies.
