For the ninth year: Edgeware presents news at the NAB Show 2018, the largest Broadcasting show in North America

The NAB Show is Edgeware’s most important show when it comes to meeting customers and partners from the US and Latin America. This year Edgeware is on site with a booth and local and international staff. A number of product news items will be announced, including a new product for personalized TV-commercials, Edgeware Ad Enabler, enhancements to Edgeware CDN Selector as well as a demonstration of piracy protection with the Edgeware TV Watermarker.

NAB, the National Association of Broadcasters, arranges the NAB Show at Las Vegas Convention Center. The event gathers all the leading TV and broadcasting companies and their customers. Edgeware has participated at the show since 2007 and NAB Show is, next to IBC and BroadcastAsia, Edgeware’s most important event.

 At NAB Show 2018 we are showcasing the full range of our product portfolio. Together with our customers and prospects we are able to make in-depth presentations and demos of our offering. The show presents valuable opportunities to display product news while at the same time feeding us with valuable knowledge from the forefront of this market. Among product news Edgeware will showcase its brand new product for personalized TV commercials, the Edgeware Ad Enabler, which adds precision to commercials, eliminating glitches to ad insertions during programs. Furthermore, Edgeware is launching the upgraded CDN Selector, providing support for all leading suppliers of CDNs, such as Akamai, Level3 and Amazon Web Services. The CDN Selector can easily be configured for additional CDN suppliers. The Ad Enabler, CDN Selector and TV Watermarker are all software products that can run on standard off the shelf hardware in a data center environment. These software products are new to Edgeware since last year’s NAB Show.

 By integrating our delivery platform with existing CDN services we provide the best of two worlds to the content owners. They can continue to deliver their content over their very own CDN, with low costs and high control and stability, whilst at the same time use CDN services to reach customers in other markets and manage peak periods in traffic, says Johan Bolin.

Edgeware will also present a unique new study on the development of theft and piracy in the industry and how this can be reduced by Edgeware’s TV Watermarker, which will be demonstrated in the booth.
