Datchet, UK, 29 November 2012 – Supply chain management software provider ediTRACK is to restructure its management, product and development teams in preparation for anticipated growth in 2013. The company announced its plans earlier this week after a decisive year that has seen a move towards new, packaged solutions and superior delivery to customers.

The restructuring will enable ediTRACK to realign its business processes with its strategic goals. This in turn will help the company to streamline its processes, supporting a more efficient and flexible approach to developing new products.

ediTRACK forecasts that it will double its turnover over the next 3 years, necessitating a significant increase in staff numbers. Current objectives are to raise headcount by 20 per cent in 2013 to support both existing product sales and to enable the company to develop and launch new products.

Organisational changes

John Devany will take over as new executive chairman and chief technical officer (CTO), and Julian Clay will be promoted to managing director.

Julian Clay, new managing director of ediTRACK, commented, “This organisational restructure is designed to take best advantage of our executive resources, and will help us keep our entrepreneurial spirit while we continue to grow in size, substance and stature. We have ambitious growth plans for the next three years, during which we expect our turnover to double and to support this we will be increasing headcount by 20% next year.”

Key product changes

ediTRACK will announce exciting new enhancements to its supply chain management software solution ‘Lighthouse’ in 2013, which will give retailers supreme visibility of their suppliers during product sampling and approving. ediTRACK also plans to improve the management of supplier and factory auditing, making it easier for retailers to select ethically sound suppliers, and to monitor their working processes. The new packaged  solutions will enable ediTRACK to offer its software more cost-effectively to customers.
